Duurzame ontwikkeling staat al lang op de voorgrond van het Europese Project. De EU heeft dan ook de “UN 2030 Agenda” zeer warm onthaald en zich volledig aangesloten bij de uitvoering ervan. Dit heeft in 2018 geleid tot een EU actieplan inzake duurzame financiering waarvan sedertdien al enkele acties vertaald zijn in EU wetgeving die ook van toepassing zijn op verzekeringstussenpersonen die verzekeringsgebaseerde beleggingsproducten (IBIPs) aanbieden.
De belangrijkste zijn:
- de EU verordening 2019/2088, of beter gekend als de Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), die reeds vanaf 10 maart 2021 grotendeels in voege is getreden, en
- het voorstel EU verordening aangaande het integreren van duurzaamheid in financieel beleggingsadvies, of anders gezegd de impact van duurzaamheid op IDD (vooral op het vlak van de geschiktheidsbeoordeling, product governance en belangenconflicten).
In deze opleiding, trachten we je een overzicht te geven van de initiatieven en het ruimer reglementair kader aangaande duurzaamheid, en gaan wij dieper in op wat bovenstaande transparantieverplichtingen precies inhouden en wat de impact en gevolgen hiervan zijn voor de verzekeringstussenpersoon.
Doelstelling
Deze opleiding heeft als doelstelling om:
- Toelichting te geven bij de meest recente initiatieven zowel op internationaal als op EU vlak op het vlak van duurzaamheid
- Gedetailleerd overzicht te geven van de transparantie verplichtingen voor verzekeringstussenpersonen
- De impact en gevolgen hiervan te schetsen op de verzekeringssector

Patricia Goddet
Patricia is a Director in the FSI Governance, Regulatory & Risk team at Deloitte Consulting & Advisory with almost 17 years of professional experience in the Financial Services Industry. Patricia has developed throughout her career an in-depth experience in governance and organisational aspects, regulatory compliance, risk management and internal controls. She is responsible for the services related to conduct regulation within the insurance sector. She has been leading projects assisting both insurance companies as well as brokers with the implementation of for instance (Assur)MiFID, PRIIPS, the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD), etc..
Within Deloitte, Patricia leads the EMEA IDD Task Force and recently she published an EMEA White Paper on the impact of IDD on the business strategy and organisation. Patricia facilitates on a regular basis trainings for Febelfin Academy mostly on insurance related regulation.
Before joining Deloitte, she worked for a small Global Asset Management Consulting company (Pragma Consulting) with a prime focus on servicing pension funds clients.
